Verdict
BEAUPARC looks well worth a step up in trip after staying on well to be pipped by a short head in second over an extended 1m2f at this track in December. This is a good race, though, with three horses lining up who won their last starts. Jockey Nicola Burns has been making a name for herself on the Polytrack in Dundalk and is reunited with Dromore Glory, who she won on over C&D in March. He is in a very consistent vein of form for Paul Flynn. Gracesolution also scored over C&D last month which brings her into the equation, while Numidia is a credit to trainer Peter Lawlor and was last seen winning over a shorter trip at Dundalk in November.
Expert View Verdict
DROMORE GLORY is taken to improve on his 50% strike rate over this C&D. A 5lb rise for his latest win could well underestimate him given that the runner up that day went very close next time despite conceding the first run. Veteran Darkened has been in good form of late and remains well treated on his old efforts. The longer trip shouldn't be an issue and he could pose the biggest challenge. Beauparc proved steadily progressive on turf and the AW last year, so she shouldn't be discounted back from a break though does she have stamina to prove.
